October 31st, 2025

Our Valorant collegiate coverage continues, our team gets our coverage of the Finals esports scene started, and we continue to make progress on the development side of things.

Content Overhauls

We overhauled our File system to work directly with new admin interface, allowing our staff to more quickly and easily capture visual identity of organizations and players alike. This involved:

  • Changes to internal views (For quick previews and visual matching)

  • Connecting to our existing SS3 buckets securely and syncing changes to our CDN

  • Building out a new internal editor to upload and link images directly to play from new editor

Additionally, we made some significant tune ups to how our internal editor handled rich text and writing content, giving our admins that classic WYSIWYG experience and making our whole content pipeline more efficient:

  • We Integrated this new editor into our internal player, organization, and page building systems

  • We created simple public routes to fetch dynamically written content for live previews, and to make way for more significant connections to our existing front-end.

  • Minor bug fixes to ensure that toolbars displayed properly on internal views

More Fields, and More context

Where our initial system tracked external links very crudely and tediously, we finally got a chance to build a system that would let our editors track player and organization’s accounts and pages with the click of a button.

Added simple menus to let editors build hierarchical relationships between organizations, and track mergers.

What’s next?

Now that we’ve made significant progress on the backend, we’re going to be prioritizing building out the front-end ahead of the first major in Stockholm for The Finals!

Full career parity with VLR, Liquipedia, and RIB will be the next big goal for the year, and we hope that you’ll be able to gain a perspective into player’s careers on Link that you can’t find anywhere else.
